Chery Tiggo 4
The compact crossover that sits below the Tiggo 7, and the model where Chery's ACTECO engine family reaches the widest market. Two engines and they behave differently: the naturally aspirated 1.5 with a CVT, and the 1.5 turbo paired with either a CVT or a dual-clutch, where the boost-control and charge-air side adds a fault tree the naturally aspirated car does not have. The recurring items are the CVT's fluid condition — its temperature and ratio codes are the first sign of wear rather than any slipping complaint — and on turbo cars the wastegate actuator. Electrically the car is well networked, so a weak battery produces faults across unrelated modules.
