Mitsubishi Expo
A tall compact people-carrier sold under a confusing number of names — Chariot and RVR in Japan, Space Wagon and Space Runner in Europe, Expo and Expo LRV in America, and as the Eagle Summit Wagon and Plymouth Colt Vista beside them. The short-wheelbase LRV and the long Expo are two different bodies under one American name. Mechanically they are Galant and Eclipse parts: the 4G63 and 4G64 fours, the same transaxles, and an available viscous-coupling all-wheel drive whose transfer unit is the one component with no equivalent in the saloons.

American sales ended in 1996; Japanese and European production continued. The four-wheel-drive cars use a rear viscous coupling rather than a differential lock.
