Tyre pressure system not reset after inflation
Tyres inflated correctly without the monitoring system being reset. Indirect systems learn what correctly-inflated wheels sound like through wheel speed, so they must be told when the reference has changed.
Until it is reset the system compares against the old, under-inflated baseline, so the warning persists on correctly inflated tyres — or worse, a genuine loss is measured against a wrong reference and goes unreported. A pressure warning that survives inflation is this, not a failed sensor. The reset is usually a menu item or a button and takes seconds. Direct systems need it too after a rotation, since the module has to be told which sensor is at which corner.
Typically an easy fix. Often worth checking before paying anyone to look.
