Toyota's 2.0 turbocharged four — in the Highlander and, in China, the Lexus RX 300.
It is a Dynamic Force engine with a turbocharger, and the useful consequence is that M20A results largely apply — the high compression ratio, the port-and-direct injection pair, and the chain are all shared.
It is a small engine in a large vehicle, which is the framing that matters: it is worked hard even when the car is driven gently, and the turbocharger's oil feed is what the service interval is really protecting.
It is too new for a settled long-term record, and the market-specific fitments make experience patchy — the Chinese RX 300 and the American Highlander share an engine and almost no documentation.
