Chinese maker best known outside China as BMW's joint-venture partner, and locally assembled in Iran by Pars Khodro — which is where most of the surviving fleet is. The BMW connection is a manufacturing partnership rather than a shared parts bin: a Brilliance H-series carries Mitsubishi-derived engines, not BMW ones, so reaching for BMW documentation is a false lead the badge invites.
