Chevrolet Lumina APV
The wedge-nosed minivan of the early nineties, and despite the name it has nothing to do with the Lumina saloon — different platform, different body construction, different vehicle entirely. Its body panels are composite over a steel space frame, which changes accident repair and corrosion behaviour but not much else. Sold as the Pontiac Trans Sport and Oldsmobile Silhouette, so all three names are worth searching, and the mechanicals are the familiar 3.1 and 3.4 pushrod V6s with their intake gasket habit. The extremely long windscreen and deep dashboard are the practical constraint: anything behind the instrument panel is a considerably bigger job than the equivalent on a saloon.
