A Toyota Corolla with a Chevrolet badge, built beside it at NUMMI in California on the same line, with the same 1ZZ-FE, the same transmissions and the same engine management. That is the whole point of the page: almost nothing useful has been written under this name, and everything written about the equivalent Corolla applies without qualification. Search that instead. The 1ZZ of these years is the engine whose oil consumption and pre-catalyst behaviour are widely documented, and the documentation is all under Toyota's name.
