Lancia Lybra
The saloon and estate that replaced the Dedra, built on the Fiat platform it shares with the Alfa Romeo 156, which is where much of its running-gear information lives. The engines are Fiat group units — the twin-spark petrols and the 1.9 and 2.4 JTD common-rail diesels — and their faults are the familiar ones: on the twin-spark, variable valve timing and the cam-cover-mounted coils; on the JTD, injector return-flow and a turbocharger whose vane mechanism sticks with soot. What is more its own is the electrical architecture: the body computer controls most of the car, and a weak battery produces convincing faults across unrelated systems, so charge and test before reading anything.
