Lotus Europa
A closed coupé on the Elise's bonded-aluminium tub, and the only Lotus of its era with a boot — softened deliberately, with a longer body, more sound deadening and no roof to remove. The engine is not a Toyota like its siblings' but a GM Family II 2.0 turbo, the same unit as the Opel Astra and Vectra OPC, so its charge-air, wastegate and management documentation is Vauxhall and Opel material rather than Lotus's. Around 450 were built, so the bodywork is scarce while the running gear is not.
