The rotary coupé, and the car in this catalogue whose diagnosis departs furthest from everything around it. The 13B Renesis has no pistons, no valves and no camshafts, so a large part of the generic corpus describes hardware it does not have — while its own failure modes have no equivalent elsewhere. Apex seal wear shows as low and uneven compression and a hot-start failure long before a code appears; the engine consumes oil by design because oil is metered into the combustion chambers to lubricate the seals, so low oil is a symptom of neglect rather than a fault; and flooding on a short cold run is a known behaviour rather than a defect.
