BMW X7
The full-size seven-seat SUV on the CLAR platform it shares with the G05 X5, which is where its information lives — the two are the same vehicle in almost every system that sets a code. Every X7 is air-sprung on both axles as standard, so ride-height, compressor and level-sensor faults are among the commonest reasons one is plugged in, and a perished bag presents as a compressor fault because the compressor is what gives up first. The B58 straight-six and N63/S68 V8s are the engines; on the V8s the hot-vee turbocharger layout puts the turbos and their oil feeds inside the vee, which is why an oil leak there reads as a burning smell long before it reads as a code.
