Daewoo Lanos
The small saloon and hatchback that outlived the marque by two decades: it was still being built in Ukraine as the ZAZ Lanos and Sens long after Daewoo stopped existing, and those cars are numerous across Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Egypt. That production history is the practically useful fact, because a late ZAZ-built car differs from a 1998 Korean one in its engine management and its wiring while carrying the same badge and body. Engines are the 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6 — the 1.5 being an Opel Family 1 derivative, so Opel Astra F and Corsa B information reaches further than the badge suggests. Ignition coils, the idle air control valve and earth corrosion account for most of its running faults.
