Daewoo Leganza
The largest car Daewoo sold under its own badge, and the one most likely to be met with an unfamiliar engine: the 2.0 and 2.2 are Daewoo's own development of a Holden-derived design, not an Opel Family unit like the rest of the range, so the Opel cross-reference that serves the Nexia and Nubira does not apply here. It is a belt-driven interference engine and the belt is the item that decides its survival. The other recurring faults are the four-speed automatic — a ZF-licensed unit whose solenoid pack is a common single-part fix for a multi-code fault — and the mass airflow sensor, whose drift shows as long-term fuel trim moving without any vacuum leak present.
