Mercury Villager
A minivan built jointly with Nissan and mechanically a Nissan Quest — the VG30E and later VG33E V6, a Nissan transaxle, and Nissan's engine management, all in a Ford-badged body. That is the single most useful fact about it, because a workshop reaching for Ford data will find very little that applies. The VG-series V6 is a belt-driven engine and an interference design, so a neglected timing belt is a destroyed engine rather than a tow home; the belt interval is the first thing to establish on any example. The distributor and its internal bearing are the usual cause of a rough-running or no-start complaint.
