Nissan Quest
The minivan, and the first two generations are not Nissans in the ordinary sense — they were developed with Ford, built in Ohio, and sold simultaneously as the Mercury Villager, so Villager material applies to them directly and Nissan material often does not. From 2003 the car becomes a proper Nissan on the Altima's platform with the VQ35DE, and from 2010 it is essentially the Japanese Elgrand adapted for North America. Three quite different vehicles under one name, so establishing the generation decides which body of information is worth reading at all.
