Expect rough running and poor power. Ask for a vacuum leak test and an exhaust back-pressure check before the sensor is replaced.
What this code means
Manifold pressure is electrically plausible but does not match what the engine is doing. Before suspecting the sensor, consider what genuinely changes manifold pressure: a large vacuum leak raises it, a restricted exhaust raises it, and worn valve timing or low compression change its character at idle. A MAP sensor reporting honestly about a sick engine sets this code just as readily as a failed sensor does.
