P0653: Sensor Reference Voltage B Circuit High
What to do
Expect reduced power, and treat it as worth prompt attention — an over-voltage reference can damage the sensors connected to it, turning one fault into several real ones.
What this code means
Reference voltage B is above its expected value — the reference wire has touched a higher voltage, or the module's regulator has failed. As with P0643, this can damage the sensors on the circuit, which are built for five volts and may be receiving twelve.
