What to do
If this appears on long descents or with a nearly full battery, it is regenerative braking having nowhere to put the energy rather than a fault — expect the car to reduce regen, which means it will not slow as firmly on lift-off. Otherwise it belongs with the measurement faults. As P0CA4.
What this code means
The pack's voltage while being discharged has gone above its limit.
The two-by-two this belongs to is at P0CA4. Discharging voltage running high is the odd member of the set, because discharging should lower a pack's voltage rather than raise it.
So the readings are narrower. Regenerative braking is the honest one — the machine becomes a generator the moment the driver lifts off, and on a full pack or a long descent it pushes voltage up while the car is nominally discharging. A measurement fault is the other, and the sense-circuit family at P0B14 covers it.
What it rules out is useful: this is not the charger, because the charger is not connected.
