Zamyad

Iran's maker of one-tonne pickups, listed on the Tehran exchange in its own right and SAIPA-controlled since 1998 — and the badge on a very large share of the working vehicles on Iranian roads.

Its cars are Nissan underneath and not Nissans. The Z24 is the third-generation Nissan Junior built under licence since 1970, so Nissan Z-series documentation describes the engine and driveline directly while nothing Nissan publishes describes the vehicle; the Padra and the double-cab Karun put a Chinese Foday cab on that same chassis, which splits a fault between Nissan mechanical material and no published material at all for the body electrics.

Almost none of the fleet has engine management worth interrogating. The Z24 was carburetted until 2006 and the Padra Plus of 2021 is the first of them to carry EOBD, so on most of this marque a diagnosis is compression, timing and fuelling rather than a scan.
