Tata Harrier
The mid-size SUV, and the model where Tata's ownership of Jaguar Land Rover actually shows: it is built on OMEGA, a derivative of Land Rover's D8 platform, so the chassis is genuinely related to a Discovery Sport even though the powertrain is not. The 2.0 Kryotec diesel is a Fiat Multijet derivative built under licence, which means Fiat's common-rail conventions apply to it rather than Tata's own Revotorq ones — an unusual case of three lineages in one vehicle.

- 1.5 turbo petrol — HYPERION · petrol · 125 kW (168 hp) · 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) · the 1,498 cc Hyperion T-GDi in the higher of its two factory tunes, and the 25 Nm over the Sierra's version of the same engine is a maker's decision rather than a disagreement between sources — two of the four make that difference their subject. carlelo's piece is written about it: the Harrier gets a differently tuned version of this engine which offers more power and torque compared to the Sierra 1.5L turbo, 168bhp and 280Nm against 158bhp and 255Nm; carhp states plainly that the full 170hp is reserved for Harrier and Safari with this engine. indiacarnews' launch report gives 170bhp and 280Nm for the Harrier and Safari together and quotes Tata's own commercial officer naming HYPERION, and motoroids' road test states 170 PS and 280 Nm having driven it. 168 bhp and 170 PS are one figure in two units, as 158 bhp and 160 PS are on the Sierra — read them as one rating, not as two. en.wikipedia names this engine on the Harrier, Safari and Sierra alike and rates it on none of them, so it cannot adjudicate the split; its Harrier citation is an NDTV report of 11 November 2025 that the Hyperion cars had started reaching dealerships. No rpm band is stated here because the two sources carrying one disagree, and carhp's own specification table contradicts its own prose by labelling the Harrier 160 hp

- 75 kWh dual motor — electric · 504 Nm (372 lb-ft) · the all-wheel-drive car, and its power is still refused — but the evidence moved, and not the way the last reading assumed. cardekho's Fearless Plus QWD 75 variant page states Max Power 390bhp and Max Torque 504Nm in the same structured block that names two permanent-magnet synchronous motors: a per-variant maker figure, not a boost-mode sentence, and en.wikipedia's 390 bhp is a second source for the number. carwale's per-variant 313 PS is now the outlier, and it prints that same 313 PS on the Sierra EV's QWD, which both of the others separate at 306 bhp — so it may be one platform figure reprinted across two cars. Two sources therefore agree on the NUMBER and none states the QUANTITY: nothing says whether 390 is a rated output or the Boost Mode peak en.wikipedia's own sentence qualifies with up to, and publishing an overboost as a rated figure is the costlier error.
