Cadillac Fleetwood
The last body-on-frame, rear-drive Cadillac saloon, and the odd one out in this range — while the DeVille and Seville beside it were front-drive Northstar cars, the Fleetwood is a D-body with a small-block Chevrolet V8, a 4L60-E and a live rear axle. That makes its documentation the Caprice's and the Roadmaster's rather than any other Cadillac's, and it is still the reason these cars remain in service as limousines and hearses. The 1994 change from the L05 to the LT1 brings Optispark ignition with it, whose distributor sits under the water pump and fails wet.

Shares the B/D-body with the Chevrolet Caprice and Buick Roadmaster. The 1994 LT1 brings Optispark, which is the ignition fault to establish first on a wet-weather no-start.
