Manufacturer
Li Auto
China
Chinese maker whose range is almost entirely extended-range electric — a petrol engine that never drives the wheels and exists only to turn a generator. That single fact reorganises its whole fault tree: the engine has no gearbox, no driveshaft and no load from the road, so its codes are generator-set codes, and a driveability complaint almost never originates there. Treating one as a conventional hybrid sends the diagnosis to the wrong subsystem.

What makes one worth reading:
- The car — make, model, year and engine. The same fault behaves differently on each.
- What you measured, not only what you replaced.
- What actually fixed it — or that nothing did, which is worth knowing too.
