Mahindra Marazzo
A monocoque seven- and eight-seat MPV, and unusual in the Mahindra range for not being body-on-frame — it uses a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout with a transverse 1.5 diesel, so nothing from the Scorpio or Bolero applies to its chassis. The engine is the D15 four-cylinder common-rail unit, and its recurring items are the family's: a variable-geometry turbocharger whose vanes stick with soot, EGR fouling that shifts flow readings, and injector return-flow as the fastest route through a rough-running complaint. The particulate filter fitted to later cars regenerates poorly on short urban runs, so a soot-load code is often a duty-cycle question rather than a fault.
