Saab 9-2X
A rebadged Subaru Impreza, and that is the entire diagnostic story — Subaru flat-four, Subaru symmetrical all-wheel drive, Subaru engine management and Subaru module addressing, in a body with a Saab grille. Saab data does not describe it and Subaru data describes all of it. The Aero carries the turbocharged EJ255 and the Linear the naturally aspirated EJ25, so the faults are the family's: head gaskets on the naturally aspirated 2.5 leaking externally at the block face, and on the turbo car the banjo-bolt filter feeding the turbocharger, which starves the bearing when it blocks. Cross-referencing to an Impreza of the same year is the fastest route to any part number.
