Toyota Avensis

The European family saloon and estate, replaced by the Camry in most markets — a fleet car above all, so its population is high-mileage diesel. The 2.0 and 2.2 D-4D are the engines that matter, and the 2.2 in particular carries a documented piston and injector history that produces oil dilution and misfire codes on an engine with no ignition fault. Later cars use BMW-sourced diesels instead, so a 1.6 D-4D is a BMW N47 and wants BMW information rather than Toyota's.
