Manufacturer
VinFast
Vietnam
Vietnamese electric maker, notable at the workshop for two reasons. Its packs are lithium iron phosphate, whose charging behaviour differs from the nickel chemistries most tools and most habits assume — charging to 100% regularly is correct practice rather than a warning sign. And its early cars were sold with the battery leased rather than owned, so pack replacement and state-of-health decisions may not be the owner's to make.

What makes one worth reading:
- The car — make, model, year and engine. The same fault behaves differently on each.
- What you measured, not only what you replaced.
- What actually fixed it — or that nothing did, which is worth knowing too.
