The mid-size crossover the marque exported first, styled by Pininfarina on a platform developed with Magna — so its chassis hardware has more European content than the badge suggests. Two facts shape a diagnosis. The pack is lithium iron phosphate, whose flat voltage curve makes state-of-charge estimation behave differently from the nickel chemistries most tools assume, and for which charging to 100% regularly is correct practice rather than a warning sign. And early cars were delivered with the battery leased rather than sold, so pack replacement, state-of-health thresholds and even some fault remedies are the leasing company's decision, not the owner's — worth establishing before quoting any work on it.
