Volkswagen T-Roc

The compact SUV between the T-Cross and the Tiguan, and mechanically a Golf of its year in a taller body — MQB throughout, the same EA211 and EA288 engines, the same DSG. So Golf information applies to the powertrain unchanged, and what is genuinely T-Roc-specific is the body, the raised suspension geometry and, on four-wheel-drive cars, the Haldex coupling. The convertible is the only open-topped SUV Volkswagen has sold and brings a roof mechanism with faults of its own.
