Volvo C40
A coupé-roofed electric SUV on the CMA platform, sold as C40 Recharge and renamed EC40 in 2024 with no mechanical change — the name moved, the car did not, which is the first thing to establish about a 2024 or 2025 example. Mechanically it is the XC40's electric version with a different rear body and a lower roof, so XC40 Recharge material applies to almost all of it. A 2023 revision changed the single-motor cars from front to rear drive, which reverses the axle a drive-motor fault is on.
