Body-on-frame gives way to a unibody here while keeping a live rear axle and a transfer case. The 2.8 CRD diesel is the European engine and its turbocharger actuator and EGR cooler dominate its faults; the 3.7 V6 is the American one and is mechanically undemanding by comparison.
