MG TF
The mid-engined roadster that developed from the MGF, and it carries two faults that between them account for most of its work. The first is the K-series head gasket, made worse here than in any front-engined application because the engine sits behind the cabin with a very long coolant run to a front radiator and several bleed points — air trapped in that circuit is what raises the local temperature that kills the gasket, so bleeding correctly is part of the repair rather than a step after it. The second is the Hydragas suspension on the MGF and early TF, a fluid-and-gas system that settles as the units leak and cannot be diagnosed by conventional spring inspection at all.
