Faulty aftermarket alarm or immobiliser installation
Wiring spliced into the vehicle's own circuits by someone who did not build the car. Symptoms that make no sense together usually trace to one splice, and because the work is often hidden behind trim it goes unsuspected for years — worth asking about directly when a vehicle produces electrical faults with no common circuit.
