Low hydraulic pressure in the actuator system

Insufficient pressure in the circuit that moves an automated manual's gear-changing actuators, so the mechanism is asked to move and cannot complete the movement. This is the gear selection circuit specifically, not the clutch actuator's — the two are separately monitored and separately coded, and treating a selection fault as a clutch fault is the usual wrong turn.

It explains a whole family of codes at once, which is its diagnostic value. Gate select and gear shift actuators both depend on it, so low pressure produces control errors and range or performance codes across several actuators simultaneously. Several actuator codes stored together argue for the pressure supply rather than for several failed actuators, and that inference is the quickest way through this system.

The causes run in a sensible order of likelihood. A low fluid level, a leak at a pipe or seal, a pump that is weak or not being commanded, an accumulator that no longer holds charge, or a pressure sensor misreporting a pressure that is actually fine. Confirm the pressure with a gauge before replacing anything, because a faulty sensor and a genuine shortfall produce the same codes and lead to completely different repairs.
