Open circuit in heater wiring
A break in the supply to a heated sensor — most often an oxygen or NOx sensor. The sensor itself is usually fine, and because the heater circuit is separate from the signal circuit, the vehicle keeps running normally while emissions monitors quietly never complete.
Typically a moderate job.
