Expect a marked loss of power or a limp mode. Have it diagnosed rather than driven on, particularly on a diesel.
What this code means
A circuit fault in the fuel rail pressure sensor. This sensor closes the loop on high-pressure fuel control — without a trustworthy reading, the module has no way to know whether the regulator is achieving what it commanded. Most strategies respond by defaulting to a conservative pressure and cutting power, because the alternative is regulating blind against components rated to a limit.
