Driveable with no effect on running. Ordinary after a module or instrument cluster replacement. On a vehicle you are considering buying, treat a mileage mismatch as a question worth answering rather than a formality.
What this code means
The module holds no odometer value, or one that disagrees with the instrument cluster. Mileage is stored in more than one module deliberately, so that altering the displayed figure requires changing it everywhere — a deliberate anti-tampering measure.
After a legitimate module or cluster replacement the values need synchronising, which is ordinary work. On a vehicle with no such history, a mileage disagreement is worth understanding before purchase.
