Cosmetic. The shift lamp does not illuminate; nothing about how the car drives is affected.
What this code means
A circuit fault in the dashboard lamp that tells the driver a skip shift is being requested. Strictly cosmetic: the lamp is an instruction to the driver, and the lockout it announces is enforced by the solenoid regardless of whether the lamp works.
Usually appears alongside P0803, since the two circuits leave the same module and often share a connector.
