What to do
Expect gears missing in groups. Ask for the connector to be inspected as well as the sensor.
What this code means
The gate select position signal reads above its valid range — an open circuit or a short to supply, which read identically at the module. On a gearbox-mounted sensor whose connector sees oil mist and road spray, a corroded joint is more likely than a broken wire and looks like nothing from outside.
