What this code means
The circuit monitoring the battery's negative contactor is reporting a fault — the other gatekeeper, watched the same way.
Everything at P0AA0 applies unchanged: the two-pole design, the feedback circuits, and the twelve-volt system as the cheapest and commonest suspect. The negative contactor often carries the additional duty of partnering the precharge circuit at start-up, so on some vehicles its faults show earlier in the wake sequence than the positive side's.
