What this code means
The pack's voltage is genuinely high — above the ceiling, which on a traction battery means overcharge, and overcharge is the direction that damages cells and generates heat.
The module's defence is to refuse further charge, so the felt symptom is regenerative braking declining — the pedal feels different downhill because the pack has nowhere to put the energy. The cause is a charging control fault more often than the pack: the generator's regulation, the battery module's limits, or a measurement fault reading high (the P0ABD check applies before anything else is believed).
