What to do
On a high-mileage engine, ask whether the load is soot or ash — soot burns off, ash does not, and the distinction decides between a regeneration and a cleaning. The hose check comes first either way.
What this code means
The pressure drop across bank 2's filter is too high — a genuinely restricted filter, or plumbing overstating one. The suspect split is the family's usual: soot loading toward P2463's ladder on the real side, the P2452 hoses on the false side, with ash as the third possibility on high-mileage engines — the incombustible residue regeneration cannot touch, which accumulates over a hundred thousand miles and answers only to off-car cleaning.
