Exhaust Gas Differential Pressure Sensor
Measures the pressure drop across a calibrated orifice in the EGR path, from which the module infers how much gas is actually flowing. Its two small sensing hoses run into exhaust heat and soot and block or perish long before the sensor itself fails, which makes them worth inspecting first — a blocked hose reports no flow from a system that is flowing perfectly well.
