Audi Q8 e-tron
Audi's first series electric car, launched as simply the "e-tron" in 2018 and renamed Q8 e-tron with the 2023 facelift — one vehicle under two names, which is the first thing to establish, because it is not the combustion Q8 despite sharing a number. The facelift also changed the packs: a 2019 car has 64.7 or 83.6 kWh usable where a 2023 one has 89 or 106, so pack part numbers do not carry across that line. It uses electrohydraulic brake actuation with regenerative blending, so a pedal-feel complaint here is a control problem rather than a hydraulic one.
