Cadillac Lyriq
Cadillac's first Ultium car — a 102 kWh pack on GM's BEV3 architecture, rear- or all-wheel drive, and a 400-volt system that can reconfigure itself to 800 volts for DC charging, which is a distinction worth establishing before anybody puts an insulation tester across it. The faults that dominate early cars are software rather than mechanical: module updates, the 33-inch display, and charge-session negotiation. There is no engine, no exhaust and no twelve-volt starting circuit in the usual sense, so the fault families a petrol Cadillac trains you for do not transfer.

The Lyriq-V of 2025 uses the same 102 kWh pack with a substantially higher peak output, so a range complaint on one is not the same conversation as on a standard car.
