Vehicle
Changan CS35
The compact crossover that carried the marque into export markets across the Middle East, Iran and Latin America, and the model most likely to be met outside China. Its engines are Changan's own BlueCore family rather than a licensed design, so other manufacturers' documentation does not transfer — but the Aisin automatic behind many of them is a widely shared unit and Aisin service data does apply, which is the useful split to know. The recurring faults are ordinary for the class: ignition coils failing individually, the electronic throttle body, and on turbocharged cars a wastegate actuator whose linkage seizes. Parts and documentation are thin in European languages, so the engine code stamped on the block is worth recording before ordering anything.

-
First generation 2012–2018
The original CS35 on naturally aspirated BlueCore fours with a manual or a conventional automatic — no dual-clutch, so that fault family does not apply.

Information, not instruction
CarGeek is a reference, not a service manual. Its pages are written from public sources and from what other people have found, never from a manufacturer's own service information, so they can be wrong or incomplete for your particular vehicle. Some of what they describe carries real risk: high voltage, fuel under pressure, stored energy, hot and moving parts.
Have anything you intend to act on checked by a trained person against the manufacturer's own procedure for your vehicle. Nothing here replaces that procedure.

Nothing posted about this yet. Whatever you found is worth writing down — even a dead end saves someone the same afternoon.
What makes one worth reading:
- The car — make, model, year and engine. The same fault behaves differently on each.
- What you measured, not only what you replaced.
- What actually fixed it — or that nothing did, which is worth knowing too.
