Dodge Caliber
The 2007-2012 hatchback that replaced the Neon, on the platform it shares with the Jeep Compass and Patriot — so those are the other two places to look for the same fault. Two things dominate its diagnosis. The JF011E continuously variable transmission fitted to most of them is a Jatco unit whose overheating, ratio-error and pressure codes are common enough that its cooling arrangement is worth inspecting before condemning the gearbox; a blocked cooler produces the whole family of them. And the World Engine fours share the sludging and cam-phaser story of the Avenger. The European diesel is a Volkswagen 2.0 TDI, which makes that variant a different vehicle diagnostically.
