Great Wall Motors Haval H9
The largest Haval, and — unlike the H6 and Jolion above it in the range — a body-on-frame seven-seater with a proper low-range transfer case, so it is a different vehicle in kind rather than a bigger version of the crossovers. Engines are the 2.0 turbo petrol and, in some markets, a 2.0 diesel, behind a ZF-derived eight-speed. The recurring items follow the layout: the transfer-case actuator and the rear locking differential set driveline warnings without mechanical symptoms, and the rear air suspension fitted to some trims produces ride-height and compressor codes when a bag begins to leak. The terrain-mode selector reads through the same modules and can mask a simpler fault.
