Vehicle
Mazda Millenia
The luxury saloon sold as the Xedos 9 in Europe and the Eunos 800 in Japan, and the reason it matters out of all proportion to how many were built is the engine in the Millenia S. The KJ-ZEM is a Miller-cycle V6 with a Lysholm supercharger and an intercooler — the only one ever mass-produced — and almost nothing written about an ordinary V6 transfers to it. Its intake charge is compressed mechanically and the inlet valves close late on purpose, so the running symptoms of a boost leak, a failing supercharger clutch or a slipping belt read quite differently from anything else in this catalogue, and the parts are scarce enough that diagnosis has to be right first time. The 2.0 and 2.5 KL cars alongside it are conventional and share their engines with the 626.

Information, not instruction
CarGeek is a reference, not a service manual. Its pages are written from public sources and from what other people have found, never from a manufacturer's own service information, so they can be wrong or incomplete for your particular vehicle. Some of what they describe carries real risk: high voltage, fuel under pressure, stored energy, hot and moving parts.
Have anything you intend to act on checked by a trained person against the manufacturer's own procedure for your vehicle. Nothing here replaces that procedure.

Nothing posted about this yet. Whatever you found is worth writing down — even a dead end saves someone the same afternoon.
What makes one worth reading:
- The car — make, model, year and engine. The same fault behaves differently on each.
- What you measured, not only what you replaced.
- What actually fixed it — or that nothing did, which is worth knowing too.
