Toyota bZ4X
Toyota's first purpose-built battery car, on the e-TNGA platform it developed with Subaru and sold simultaneously as the Subaru Solterra — the same vehicle, so Solterra material applies almost without exception and doubles what is available. Two things are worth establishing early. The all-wheel-drive car has a motor on each axle and no propshaft, so a rear-drive fault is electrical. And the early cars were recalled over wheel hub bolts that could loosen, which is the single most consequential thing recorded against them and worth confirming as done before anything else is investigated.
