Toyota Fortuner

The body-on-frame SUV built on the Hilux's IMV platform and sold across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America — sold as the SW4 in Brazil. Hilux information covers nearly all of it, which is the most useful thing to know, because the Fortuner's own documentation is thin in Western sources while the Hilux's is not. The 2.8 GD 1GD-FTV is the engine most have, and its diesel particulate filter on dusty, low-speed duty is the usual reason one gets scanned.
